lyme protocol updates– or– don’t wait til the last minute:)

As many of you know, I’ve had chronic lyme for the last few decades– yeah– over half my life has been eaten up by the little fuckers… And for years, I’d just shrugged it off and been readjusting what I can do.. spoiler– it’s less and less over the years… which I’ve realized is NOT just aging etc or anything other than my internal resources being eaten up.

The clincher was the weight gain- regardless of anything I try/avoid/exercise etc. Which- with the digging I did- explained it. The lyme-creating so much toxic internal damage that my system cannot do anything other than survival-mode operations.

Anyway- so I did a lot of research and put together a protocol that seems to be working. For the first time in over a decade, my body temp is 97 degrees, and creeps up to 97.2 and sometimes even 97.4.

So I know that what I’m doing is, in fact, accomplishing something. Big YAY, there– even if I don’t actually feel better yet.

Right now, I am between stage 2 and stage 3. Stage 3 is where  I add in the next layer of attack- which is the break into the biolfilms that lyme creates– and hides behind. quick note- a biofilm is a kind of layer of goo that it creates, using the body’s own tissues– which is why the immune system cannot find the lyme spirochetes– it looks around and hears: nope. nothing to see here. all good. This all looks like normal tissue etc. (think kids making a pillow fort, except you really don’t see the pillow fort because they’re really good at camouflage;)

Anyway- so I’ve been doing this protocol., which had been working. Slow, but working. Then I ran out of one of the things I’d been taking. And- I’d forgotten that  this one isn’t available via amazon, and — that it takes significantly longer re shipping etc. So- I went 4-6 days without one of the components. No big. Then it arrived and I went back on it. I think (I  could be wrong) that the  lyme may have acted like the teacher–parent-person was out of the room and started acting up.. and I get back with the reinforcements, only to discover the mess the little buggers had created.

Essentially, it feels like I was running through a field of pure pollen, got mugged, stumbled clear of the field, fell face down in muck– then run over my a tank. and came down with the flu:)

Okay- probably not quite that bad, but you get the idea. Just that low grade, miserable-achy feeling you can’t just sleep off…but you don’t feel functional, either)

Now- I’m hoping that this levels out and I can start the next phase. And I know that  once that happens, I will likely have a down-period… it’s going to be like turning on the lights and all the cockroaches go running… kind of thing.

BUT- my plan is to finish bk9 before I start that, so that I am not completely behind my to-do list.. which.. I know… is growing longer… yikes!

At least I haven’t had any new book ideas to add to that list:)

At some point, if anyone is interested, I can post out the detox protocol– which, I think, would be beneficial (at least parts of it) for anyone with chronic health issues:)

I’ll keep  you posted:)
