Well,

I will admit- I had so many reservations when Melinda first recommended making a fancy top tier edition of Winter Mage. And the more I looked into it, regarding how much needed to be done and what was included: 34 color images, page formatting, cover design that is carefully layered because the foil is a completely separate image file– which has some very specific needs to be sure it comes out correctly, and all the interior formatting of the book.

But I did it. And by I, I mean Melinda hand-held and walked me through every step, and did soo much of the heavy lifting herself. She’s done a handful already, so she automatically knows what needs to get done.

So- finally everything was ready and I submitted the order. That goes over to the UK, because there are no one in the US does the super fancy printing, AND print on demand. I just wanted one, not 300– especially at those rates, yikes!:)

And then we wait, and wait some more.

Anyway- finally, a paper-wrapped box arrives at my door YAY! And this book is everything and more than I could have expected it to be!
